ABSTRACT

The osteoma is an infrequent neoplasia in the glenoid bone, it is characterized by being a self-limiting, painful and small injury. The case of a 33-year-old woman is reported, that the radiographic study for dental care shows a delimited radiopaque area that occupies the glenoid, without other signs or symptoms. Complementary studies are conducted and the lesion removed, being reported by the anatomo-pathologic study as osteoma.

Key words: Osteoma, glenoid fossa.
